Androrchis:   Male Orchis, i. e. the group of Orchis mascula

Ophrys sitiaca differs from Orchis anatolica by the longish-convex lip and the narrow lateral lobes, which are more narrow than the median lobe. Ophrys sitiaca occurs in whole Crete, mainly on phyllite-quartzite and serpentinite, while Ophrys anatolica occurs only in Eastern Crete on limestone. It is Ophrys anatolica, which forms hybrid swarms with Orchis quadripunctata, as a species these are called Orchis sezikiana.
