Ornithogalum pannonicum ist nahe verwandt mit Ornithogalum comosum, aber von zierlicherer Statur.
Die Blätter sind ohne weißen Mittelstreifen, die Tragblätter der unteren Blüten können länger sein als die zugehörigen Blütenstiele.
Die Filamente sind von unten her gerade, und verjüngen sich erst ab der Mitte.
Die Art ist sowohl in Fels- und Magerrasenbiotopen des Burgenlands als auch im Ödland um die Salzlacken im Seewinkel häufig.
Ornithogalum pannonicum is closely related to Ornithogalum comosum, but more delicate in stature.
The leaves are without a white middle stripe, the bracts of the lower blooms can be longer than the associated peduncles.
The filaments are straight from below and only taper from the middle.
The species is common both in rocky and nutrient-poor grassland biotopes of the Burgenland as well as in the wasteland around the salt lakes in the Seewinkel.
