The Marsh Foxtail Alopecurus geniculatus is rather similar to the Orange Foxtail Alopecurus aequalis, but it has much longer awns and also longer anthers than Alopecurus aequalis. The ripe anthers of Alopecurus geniculatus are brown, those of Alopecurus aequalis brick-red. The leaves of Alopecurus geniculatus are corrugated. | ||
