The Cabbage  Brassica oleracea var. italica (resp. convar. italica since this is a bred plant) was bred on base of the Wild Cabbage Brassica oleracea, which is growing at the coasts of the Atlantic Ocean between Spain and Southern England as well as Helgoland.
