This species, some treat it only as subspecies Chenopodium album subsp. striatum, differs from Chenopodium album by the following attributes: The leaves are dark and have often a red edge, the below side of the germ-leaves shall be reddish, the stem has stripes, it is about a month later in flower than Chenopodium album, and has smaller seed. | ||
