A big population of Crassula helmsii grows in a pond near Schauernheim (Palatinate, Germany). It originates from Australia and is used in aquariums.
Some sources mention 'Australia and New Zealand' as origin, but according to other sources the plants from New Zealand shall be different to those from Australia.
