Epilobium lamyi differs from Epilobium tetragonum mainly by the following attributes: The upper part of Epilobium lamyi is covered with dense appressed hairs, which is the reason for the greyish appearance of the plant. The buds of Epilobium lamyi are standing upright, the nodality of the leaves is hardly decurrent, the tip of the leave is obtuse. Both species have a mace-like stigma. | ||
