In Germany this hybrid occurs more frequent than its parents, often without these. The attribute to build up thickets it has inherited from Fallopia sachalinensis. In most other attributes it is intermediate. Fallopia sachalinensis has been imported from the island of Sachalin, while Fallopia japonica originates from East Asia and is more elegant. | ||
