One of the most southern occurrences of the Belgian Gagea Gagea spathacea in Germany can be found in the beech wood 'Lusshardt' between Forst, Hambrücken and Ubstadt-Weiher in the Upper Rhine Valley. It is rarely in flower, often it propagates only vegetatively. In the northern parts of Germany the plant is spread wider. | ||
