Die Flora Europaea sieht diese Pflanze als eine Art, deren Variabilität sich nicht geografisch in Arten oder Unterarten aufspalten lässt. Dagegen führen die französischen Internetseiten TelaBotanica und PhotoFlora die Arten Hedypnois cretica (liegende Pflanzen) und Hedypnois rhagadioloides (höhere, meist aufrecht wachsende Pflanzen) getrennt, die in Südfrankreich beide vorkommen. The Flora Europaea sees this plant as one species whose variability can't be separated geographically into species or subspecies. But the French internet sites TelaBotanica and PhotoFlora are managing the two species Hedypnois cretica (procumbent plants) and Hedypnois rhagadioloides (higher, ususaly erectly growing plants) separately, which both occur in Southern France. | ||
