The leaves of Hedysarum hedysaroides s.str., which is widespread in the Central and Eastern Alps, consist of about six pairs of leaflets, while Hedysarum hedysaroides subsp. exaltatum from the Italian and Slovenian Southern Alps has about 10 pairs of leaflets. | ||
