Etymology:
   Hylotelephium:   hyle = wood; Telephium according to King Telephos of Mysia whose wounds shall have been abated by sap of a species of this genus
   vulgare:   common
   telephium:   Telephos, King of Mysia whose wounds shall have been abated by sap of this plant
   fabaria:   bean (leaf form)
   Sedum:   Roman plant name, from sedere = to sit
 

Hylotelephium vulgaris is a plant of lower mountain ranges. It is characterized by rather narrow leaves, which are the wedge-shaped converging to the stem.
