   Hylotelephium:   hyle = Wald; Telephium nach König Telephos von Mysien, dessen Wunden mit dem Saft einer Art dieser Gattung gelindert worden sein sollen / hyle = wood; Telephium according to King Telephos of Mysia whose wounds shall have been abated by sap of a species of this genus

Hylotelephium vulgaris ist eine Pflanze der Mittelgebirge. Sie zeichnet sich durch eher schmale Blätter aus, die die keilförmig auf den Stängel zulaufen.

Hylotelephium vulgaris is a plant of lower mountain ranges. It is characterized by rather narrow leaves, which are the wedge-shaped converging to the stem.
