Onosma arenaria is a rare Central European plant of inland dunes, which is still available in the nature reserve 'Mainzer Sand' west of Mainz. As other rare plants of the inland dunes it is also available in the Botanical Garden of the University of Mainz. But what you can see under this name in the Botanical Garden of Heidelberg is another plant of unknown foreign origin with stellulate hairs at the base of the bristles, and obviously labeled wrongly. | ||
