This tiny plant is only 10 to 30 cm high and originates from the Himalayas. The leaves can show a dark dot but need not. At fresh to wet edges of forest paths between Benolpe and Hofolpe (Kreis Olpe, North-Rhine Westphalia) at least 11 sites have been found. Other occurrences of the plant, which leave a mark to be naturalized, have been found in North-Rhine Westphalia near Iserlohn, Haltern am See and in the Wahner Heide. Also in other German regions and in some other European countries occurrences of the plant have been noted. It is assumed that the plant is introduced with seed for wildlife food plots, and then runs wild. | ||
