Etymologie / Etymology:
   Petrorhagia:   petros = Stein, rhagas = Ritze / petros = stone, rhagas = chink
   glumacea:   mit Spelzen / with glumes
 

Diese Pflanze von der Peloponnes besitzt die am äußeren Rand gezähnten Blütenblätter der Petrorhagia glumacea. Die auffällige Adern-Zeichnung der Blütenblätter ist jedoch der ebenfalls in Griechenland vorkommenden Petrorhagia obcordata ähnlicher.

This plant from the Peloponnese has the petals of Petrorhagia glumacea, which are serrated on the outer edge. However, the striking vein pattern on the petals is more similar to Petrorhagia obcordata, which also occurs in Greece.
