Im 'Exotenwald' bei Weinheim an der Bergstraße (Deutschland) gibt es eine Gruppe dieser Bäume. Die Serbische Fichte kann sich im mitteleuropäischen Klima aus Samen vermehren, wie die letzten Fotos von einem Friedhof in Bonn zeigen.

The Serbian Spruce occurs only in a small area at steep shady slopes of the Tara mountains in the western part of Serbia and eastern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
