Potentilla schultzii belongs to the Potentilla collina aggregate.
This plant is standing between Potentilla incana
and Potentilla argentea agg.. Most probably these plants are of hybridogenous origin.
Today Potentilla schultzii has few locations in the region of Kusel, Northern Palatinate, Germany.
Formerly it had a wider distribution, as far as e.g. Ludwigshafen-Oggersheim and Mainz.
