Etymology:
   Rumex:   Roman name of Sorrel
   triangulivalvis:   with three-cornered valves
   salicifolius:   willow-leaved
 

The Willow-Leaved Dock Rumex triangulivalvis is a neophyte from Eastern Europe. Ist has no rosette of basic leaves, only narrow stem leaves. Its stature is lying or rising. The valves are triangular in ripe state.
