   bermudiana:   from the West-Indian Bermuda islands

This plant grows in big numbers at the Northern shore of the lake Lough Caragh, County Kerry, Ireland. Originally it is not an European plant, but one of the Blue-eyed Grasses out of a group of primitive Iris from Northern America. but as the orchid Spiranthes romanzoffianabut as the orchid Spiranthes romanzoffianaSisyrinchium bermudiana might have invaded Ireland on the natural way.
