Doch wie die Orchidee Spiranthes romanzoffiana soll Sisyrinchium bermudianum auf natürliche Weise eingewandert sein.

This plant grows in big numbers at the Northern shore of the lake Lough Caragh, County Kerry, Ireland. Originally it is not an European plant, but one of the Blue-eyed Grasses, Sisyrinchium bermudianum out of a group of primitive Iris from Northern America. As the orchid Spiranthes romanzoffiana Sisyrinchium bermudianum shall have invaded Ireland on the natural way.
