Relative often the Garden Pansy runs wild, e.g. near cemeteries or paths in garden colonies. Usually the blossoms become then smaller with every generation, so they approximate to the blossom dimensions of the parent species again. The Garden Pansy has been cultured from Viola tricolor, Viola lutea, and Viola altaica. | ||
