| Deutsch: Ophrys tarentina kann man in den süditalienischen Provinzen Kalabrien, Basilikata und Apulien finden. Besonders auffällig ist der dichte Kranz hellerer Haare am Rand der Lippe. Verschiedene Autoren nehmen eine hybridogene Entstehung aus der sizilianischen Ophrys lunulata und einer Art der sphegodes-Gruppe an. Bestäubt wird Ophrys tarentina wie alle mit lunulata verwandten Ophrys von einer Mauerbiene, in diesem Fall Osmia tricornis. |
| English: Ophrys tarentina can be found in the southern Italian provinces Calabria, Basilicata and Apulia (Puglia). The close wreath of brighter hair at the edge of the lip is striking. Some authors assume a hybridogene origin from the Sicilian Ophrys lunulata and an orchid of the Ophrys sphegodes group. As all relatives of Ophrys lunulata it is pollinated by a mason bee, in this case Osmia tricornis. |
