Nigritella suceveana was only described in 2021, I don't have the description available. As in the article by HEDRÉN, ANGELESCU and LORENZ in Jour.Eur.Orch. 54 (3-4) (2022) can be read on page 299, Nigritella suceveana is diploid and reproduces sexually, i.e. via insect pollination. In the article mentioned above also the similar looking and not far away growing Nigritella nigra subsp. bucegiana is described, which, however, is tetraploid and reproduces asexually (i.e. apomictically), as can be read on page 295. |
