Anthyllis vulneraria subsp. polyphylla ist ein in Mittel- und Osteuropa natürlich vorkommender Wundklee, der sich unter anderem durch eine behaarte Stängelbasis auszeichnet. In kommerziellen Saatmischungen z.B. für Ansaaten auf Straßenböschungen findet sich in den letzten Jahren oft eine ziemlich kräftige Wundklee-Zuchtform, die Anthyllis vulneraria subsp. polyphylla recht ähnlich ist, jedoch eine un- oder kurz behaarte Stängelbasis aufweist. Dazu gehören mindestens die bei Germersheim, Mannheim und Gerolzhofen-Sulzheim fotografierten Pflanzen.

Anthyllis vulneraria subsp. polyphylla is a naturally occurring Kidney Vetch of Central and Eastern Europe, which, among other attributes, is characterized by a hairy stem base. In commercial seed mixtures e.g. for sowing on road embankments in recent years often a cultivated rather robust form of Kidney Vetch is contained, which is quite similar to Anthyllis vulneraria subsp. polyphylla but has no or short hairs at the stem base. This includes at least the plants photographed at Germersheim, Mannheim and Gerolzhofen-Sulzheim.
