Centaurea jacea subsp. substituta stammt aus Russland und einigen seiner Nachbarländer. Sie zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass an den oberen Kelchschuppen die Fransen fehlen. An dem Standort bei Lünen war die Sippe wohl in einer Ansaatmischung enthalten, hat sich aber inzwischen schon viele Jahre erhalten und auch in nicht angesäte Bereiche vermehrt.

Centaurea jacea subsp. substituta is native to Russia and some of its adjacent countries. It is characterized by the fact that the fringes are missing at the upper calyx scales. At the site near Lünen the clan was most probably contained in a seed mixture, but has been preserved for many years and multiplied into not sown areas in between.
