Chaenostoma cordatum ist eine Zierpflanze, die ich sowohl in einer deutschen Kleinstadt als auch an einem Straßenrand in den Pyrenäen fand. Neben den normalen weißen Blüten werden heute auch rosa, violett und blau blühende Züchtungen angeboten. Ursprünglich stammt sie aus Südafrika. Neben den oben angegebenen Synonymen wird sie von Gärtnern oft auch Sutera diffusus genannt, den Autor dieses Namens konnte ich aber nicht ausfindig machen.

Chaenostoma cordatum is an ornamental plant, which I found in a German small town as well as at a road verge in the Pyrenees. Beneath the usually white flowers today also pink, lilac, and blue breedings are offered. The origin of the plant is South Africa. Beneath the synonyms mentioned above it is often called Sutera diffusus by gardeners, but I couldn't find out the author of this name.
