Dianthus sylvaticus ist ausdauernd und besitzt mindestens vier Paare von Stängelblättern, die zwischen 2 und 5 mm breit sind. Die Scheide der Stängelblätter ist nur etwa so lang wie die Stängelbreite. Bei der nah verwandten Dianthus seguieri beträgt die Breite nur bis zu 2 mm. Von manchen Autoren wird Dianthus sylvaticus als Unterart von Dianthus seguieri angesehen.
Ligurien und überhaupt Italien wird nicht als Verbreitungsgebiet von Dianthus sylvaticus angegeben (aber von Dianthus seguieri), doch ich kann die Bilder mit den vielen breiten Stängelblättern von dort nicht anders einordnen.

Dianthus sylvaticus is a perennial with at least four pairs of stem leaves which are between 2 and 5 mm wide. The sheath of the stem leaves is only about as long as the stem width. In the closely related Dianthus seguieri the width is only up to 2 mm. By some authors Dianthus sylvaticus is treated as subspecies of Dianthus seguieri.
Liguria and Italy in general are not listed as distribution area of Dianthus sylvaticus (but of Dianthus seguieri), but I cannot classify the photos with the many wide stem leaves from there any differently.
