Equisetum x alsaticum ist die Dreifach-Hybride Equisetum hyemale x Equisetum x trachyodon, dies entspricht Equisetum hyemale x ( Equisetum hyemale x Equisetum variegatum ).
Die Pflanze kommt an wenigen Orten im Elsass und in Südbaden vor. Wesentliche Unterschiede zu Equisetum hyemale sind, dass die Spitzen der Scheiden nicht so schnell abfallen und die Zentralhöhle im Innern des Stängels kleiner ist.

Equisetum x alsaticum is the triple hybrid Equisetum hyemale x Equisetum x trachyodon, which corresponds to Equisetum hyemale x ( Equisetum hyemale x Equisetum variegatum ).
The plant occurs at few locations in Alsace (France) and Southern Baden (Germany, Baden-Württemberg). Important differences to Equisetum hyemale are that the bards at the sheaths are not lost so quickly, and that the central hole in the interior of the stem is smaller.
