In Hagen wurde auf einer Böschung die Kulturerdbeere 'Fontaine' gefunden, die aus der japanischen Wildart Fragaria iinumae und der europäischen Wald-Erdbeere Fragaria vesca gekreuzt wurde. Ob die Population durch Gartenauswurf entstand oder ob die Hybride zweier Wildarten durch Samen vermehrungsfähig ist, ist nicht bekannt. Durch Ausläufer vermehrt sie sich auf jeden Fall. The cultivated Strawberry 'Fontaine' was found on an embankment in Hagen. It is a crossing of the Japanese wild strawberry Fragaria iinumae and the European Wild Strawberry Fragaria vesca. It is not known whether the population arose from garden throwout or whether the hybrid of two wild species is capable of reproduction by seed. At least it is able to reproduce by runners. | ||
