Muhlenbergia mexicana stammt aus Nordamerika einschließlich Kanada (und nicht aus Mexiko). In Offenburg hat es sich in eine Anpflanzung anderer Ziergräser eingenistet und hält sich seit Jahren.

Muhlenbergia mexicana is native to North America including Canada (and not to Mexico). In Offenburg it was introduced into a plantation of other ornamental grasses and is lasting since years.
