Normalerweise ist die Argolische Eselsdistel am Kelch stärker behaart als das von mir fotografierte Exemplar.

At the calyx the Argolian Cotton Thistle is usually much more hairy than the one which I photographed.

   Onopordum:   onos = Esel, porde = Wind (Blähung) / onos = donkey, porde = wind (flatulence)
   argolicum:   aus der Argolis (Peloponnes, Griechenland) / from Argolis (Peloponnese, Greece)
