Deutsch: Ophrys cilentana wurde erst im Jahr 2000 von DEVILLERS und DEVILLERS-TERSCHUREN in Natural.belges 81 (Orchid.13): 339-352 aus dem Cilento in Südwest-Italien beschrieben. In Natural.belges 85 (Orchid.17): 125-128 nennt DELFORGE Andrena flavipes als Bestäuber der Art.

English: Ophrys cilentana has been described in 2000 by DEVILLERS and DEVILLERS-TERSCHUREN in Natural.belges 81 (Orchid.13): 339-352 from Cilento in South-West Italy. In Natural.belges 85 (Orchid.17): 125-128 DELFORGE states that the species is pollinated by Andrena flavipes.
