Die bei uns als Alleebaum angepflanzte und selten auch verwilderte Bastard-Platane ist die gärtnerische Hybride zwischen der im östlichen Mittelmeergebiet wachsenden Platanus orientalis und der amerikanischen Platanus occidentalis. The London Plane Tree, which is often grown along roads and which rarely runs wild, is the artificial hybrid between Platanus orientalis from the Eastern Mediterranean and Platanus occidentalis from America. | ||
