Die Pyramiden-Eiche ist eine Form der Stiel-Eiche, bei der die Zweige senkrecht statt waagerecht wachsen. Dadurch wirkt sie fast wie eine Pappel. Der Baum auf dem ersten Bild ist etwa 550 Jahre alt, und hat schon mehrere Blitzeinschläge überlebt.

The Pyramidal Oak is a form of the Common Oak, at which the branches are growing vertically instead of horizontally. For this reason it looks similar to a poplar. The tree on the first photo is about 550 years old, and survived several lightning strikes.
