Die böhmische Unterart des Arznei-Beinwells hat eine zierlichere Statur und im Verhältnis zur Breite längere Blätter als die gewöhnliche Unterart, sowie ausschließlich gelblich-weiße Blüten, die etwas kleiner aber unten offener sind als die des gewöhnlichen Arznei-Beinwells. Die Sippe ist allerdings nicht von allen Autoren als eigenständig anerkannt.

The Bohemian subspecies of the Comfrey has a daintyer figure and narrower leaves than the usual subspecies. Its blossoms are always yellowish white, somewhat smaller but at the lower end more open than those of the usual Comfrey. However this taxon is not accepted by some authors.
