Auf Fig. 6 und 14 sind die Schwielen an den Spitzen der äußeren und inneren Kelchblätter zu sehen, die für den deutschen Namen Schwielen-Löwenzahn Pate standen, und die ein wichtiges Merkmal für die Zuordnung eines Löwenzahns zur sect. Erythrosperma darstellen.
Die Pflanze aus dem Chelmos-Gebirge im Norden der Peloponnes (Fig. 12 bis 15) zeigt die gleichen Blätter wie der mitteleuropäische Taraxacum tortilobum, doch diese Art soll in Griechenland nicht vorkommen.
