Veronica opaca ist Veronica agrestis vegetativ recht ähnlich. Die Blätter von Veronica opaca sind etwas rundlicher als die dreieckig-länglichen von Veronica agrestis. Die Früchte der beiden sind kaum unterscheidbar, bei beiden ragt der Griffel nicht über die Kapselbucht hinaus. Eindeutig sind natürlich die mittelblauen Blüten der Veronica opaca von den hellen Blüten der Veronica agrestis zu unterscheiden, beide sind viel kleiner als die von Veronica persica.

Vegetatively Veronica opaca is quite similar to Veronica agrestis. The leaves of Veronica opaca are slightly rounder than the triangular-elongated ones of Veronica agrestis. The fruits of both are hardly distinguishable, in both cases the style is shorter than the notch. Of course, the blue flowers of Veronica opaca can be clearly distinguished from the light flowers of Veronica agrestis, both are much smaller than those of Veronica persica.
