Rare Plants near Erbach-Ernsbach in Odenwald
In the valley floor and at the slopes of the small valley Löwengrund near Erbach-Ernsbach one can still find a lot of rare plants. At the northern exposed side of the valley I found the following plants among others:
Hieracium aurantiacum / Orange Hawkweed, Fox and Cubs Asteraceae / Composite Fam.		Blechnum spicant / Hard Fern Blechnaceae / Chain Fern Fam.		Phegopteris connectilis / Beech Fern Thelypteridaceae / Marsh Fern Fam.
Luzula congesta / Spike Wood-Rush Juncaceae / Rush Fam.		Luzula multiflora / Heath Wood-Rush Juncaceae / Rush Fam.		Juncus tenuis / Slender Rush Juncaceae / Rush Fam.
Carex spicata / Spicate Sedge, Prickly Sedge Cyperaceae / Sedge Fam.		Polygala vulgaris / Common Milkwort Polygalaceae / Milkwort Fam.		Polygala vulgaris var. oxyptera / Sharp-Winged Milkwort Polygalaceae / Milkwort Fam.
Juncus acutiflorus x articulatus / Hybrid Rush = Juncus x montserratensis Juncaceae / Rush Fam.		Juncus effusus / Soft Rush Juncaceae / Rush Fam.		Viola palustris / Marsh Violet Violaceae / Violet Fam.
Sphagnum palustre / Prairie Sphagnum Sphagnopsida / Bog Mosses		Circaea alpina / Alpine Enchanter's Nightshade, Small Enchanter's Nightshade Onagraceae / Willowherb Fam.
At the path on the northern side of the valley the Gorse Ulex europaeus is increasing steadily.

At higher altitude paths of the Southern side of the valley I found the following plants:

Molinia arundinacea / Tall Moor Grass Poaceae / Grass Fam.   up to 2 meters high		Molinia arundinacea / Tall Moor Grass Poaceae / Grass Fam.
