Ophrys massiliensis VIGLIONE & VELA (1999) ist eine sehr frühblühende Orchidee mit meist kleinen Blüten aus der sphegodes-Gruppe, die in Südfrankreich und benachbarten Teilen von Italien in moosigen, oft nordexponierten Biotopen nahe der Küste des Mittelmeers wächst.
Ophrys massiliensis VIGLIONE & VELA (1999) is a very early orchid with usually small flowers from the sphegodes group, which is growing in Southern France and nearby part of Italy in mossy, often north exposed biotopes near the Mediterranean coast.
