A meadow in the wood on the Rhine island of Ketsch
Biotop

The nature reserve of the Rhine island of Ketsch (North-Western Baden-Württemberg, Germany), which is located between an old Rhine back water and the rectified Rhine river, contains many different biotopes as for example riparian woods, cane brakes, different kinds of meadows, the fixed bank of the Rhine and non-fixed banks of the back water. Very rich of species is a not very big meadow in the wood. Almost all plants are well visible from the path which goes through it. In spring you can come across e.g. the following plants:
