Das Ährchen von Eleocharis vulgaris ist 20- bis 40-blütig, es besitzt braune Spelzen mit grüner Mittelrippe; das Ährchen von Eleocharis palustris s.str. ist 40- bis 70-blütig mit hellbraunen Spelzen. Die Früchte von Eleocharis vulgaris sind 1,4 bis 1,9 mm lang, die von Eleocharis palustris s.str. nur 1,2 bis 1,5 mm lang, gemessen ohne das Griffelpolster am oberen Ende der Frucht.
Diese Seite zeigt Pflanzen aus dem Eleocharis palustris Aggregat, deren genaue Art-Zugehörigkeit zu Eleocharis palustris s.str. oder Eleocharis vulgaris noch nicht bestimmt wurde.
