| Melampyrum velebiticum BORBAS ex HAND.-MAZZ. | ||
| APG-Fam.: Orobanchaceae / Broomrape Fam.
Fam. tradit.: Scrophulariaceae / Figwort Fam.
|
| Genus: Melampyrum L. |
From the relationship of Melampyrum nemorosum several regional species have been described. Melampyrum velebiticum differs from Melampyrum nemorosum by blossoms which are open in the front part. Also the pilosity in the area of the blossoms is different. The most upper bracts of Melampyrum velebiticum, which are usually tinged with violet, are narrower and only toothed in the behind part (if toothed at all). Plants with attributes of Melampyrum velebiticum can be found in the French Alps, too. |
