Fotos von Pflanzen des europäischen Florengebiets, die ich seit den 80er Jahren meist bei der Suche nach Orchideen ebenfalls angetroffen habe, zeige ich hier, doch ohne die Orchideen, die in einem separaten Bereich dieser Seite erscheinen. Damals habe ich hauptsächlich auffällige Arten fotografiert, die ich an vielen Orten zwischen Portugal und Zypern, zwischen Tunesien und Nord-Schweden aufnahm.		Photos of plants of the European flora region, which I took since the 80ies in most cases when searching for orchids, are presented here, but without the orchids which appear in an extra section of this site. In the beginning I took mainly photos of striking plants. The photos were taken at many sites between Portugal and Cyprus, between Tunisia and Northern Sweden.
2006 habe ich jedoch begonnen, alle Wildpflanzen meiner Heimatregion in Südwest-Deutschland systematisch zu fotografieren. Auch auf Reisen fotografiere ich die blühenden Pflanzen und versuche sie zu bestimmen.		However in 2006 I started to take photos of all native plants of my home region in South-West Germany systematically. Also on trips I'm taking photos of the wild plants in flower and try to determine these.
Zur Zeit stehen bereits 21458 Fotos von 3179 Arten, Unterarten und Varietäten aus 931 Gattungen und 161 Familien zur Auswahl.		Currently already 21458 photos of 3179 species, subspecies, and varieties out of 931 genera and 161 families are available.
Die linke Spalte der Pflanzen-Anwahlseiten bietet die Vorschau eines Bildes der Art, auf dessen Anwahl der Cursor sich gerade befindet, beziehungsweise zuletzt befand. Voraussetzung ist, dass in Ihrem Browser Javascript eingeschaltet ist.		The left column of the plant selection pages offers a preview to a photo of the species to which the cursor is currently pointing, resp. pointed last. Condition is that Javascript is enabled in your browser.
Leider konnte ich noch nicht alle Pflanzen bestimmen, und bei denen mit Fragezeichen ? bin ich nicht sicher.
