Mahonia bealei is an example of an Asian Mahonia, it comes from China. In Europe it is planted in parks. Other similar Asian Mahonias include Mahonia japonica and the horticultural hybrid between the two, Mahonia x media. The frequently cultivated and also imbruted Mahonia of the group around Mahonia aquifolium are however of Amerian origin. | ||
