Etymology:
   Alchemilla:   Arabic name, = little alchemist
   alpina:   from the Alps
 

On mountains of the Alps which are consisting of crystalline rocks Alchemilla alpina is the most frequent Alpine Lady's Mantle. Its leaves are consisting of 5(-7) lobes. I'm not sure whether ths plants from the Pyrenees belong to the same species.
