The Moth Plant Araujia sericifera belongs to the Asclepiadaceae and comes from South America. It has been introduced in the 19th century as ornamental plant, in between it has run wild at several locations of Northern Spain. The blossom of the plant, which is called Moth Plant among other names, is clamping the proboscis of moths which are visiting it. | ||
